The calculator itself needs no cookies

Every calculation runs in your browser. Your inputs are never sent to a server and never stored in a cookie. If you use the calculator without consenting to analytics or advertising, the site sets no cookies at all.

Categories

Strictly necessary

Used only to remember your choice about the cookie banner, so that we do not ask again on every visit. It is stored locally in your browser and contains no identifier that could recognise you. Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 this does not require consent.

Analytics (consent required)

Where enabled, we measure traffic with Google Analytics 4 in consent mode with IP anonymisation, solely to learn which pages are found and used. Without your consent, no analytics cookie is set and no identifier is transmitted.

Advertising (consent required)

Some pages carry advertising served through Google AdSense. With your consent, Google may set cookies for personalisation; without it, only non-personalised ads are served. Google’s processing is described at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.

Local storage

Separately from cookies, the calculator may keep your last selection in your browser’s localStorage so you do not have to enter it again. That data never leaves your device and disappears if you clear site data in your browser settings.

Withdrawing consent

You can change your mind at any time: through the cookie banner, by clearing site data in your browser, or by blocking third-party cookies altogether. Withdrawal takes effect for the future and does not affect the lawfulness of processing already carried out.
